I’m a live wedding painter based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Self-taught, with seven years of painting behind me. Murals, portraits, digital work, and since 2023, weddings painted live across the country.

A long answer
to a short question.
In 2023, someone asked if I could paint live at their wedding. I had never done it before. I said yes, prepared as much as I could, showed up, and barely finished in time. When the couple turned around and saw the canvas for the first time, that moment completely changed what I thought art could do.
It didn't just decorate their day. It held something a photograph never could.
That's when I realised my work could truly move people, and that feeling has never left me. Since then I've painted at weddings, receptions, birthdays, private ceremonies, and events across 20+ places in Nepal. Every room has its own energy, its own light, its own story unfolding. I try to get all of it onto the canvas.
I work with acrylics during live events because they dry fast enough that I can't overthink. That constraint is a gift, it keeps the painting alive and in the moment, just like the celebration happening around me.
If you're looking for something personal, something painted with real care while your people are still in the room, I'd genuinely love to be part of your day. Can't wait to meet you.

A short timeline.
The moments I remember without checking.
Started painting
Self-taught from the beginning, trial and error, experimenting with colors and styles.

First studio
The first proper space to call a studio, somewhere to work, finish commissions, and build something more permanent.

First wedding painted live
First time painting live at a wedding. Barely finished in time. The look on the couple's faces when they saw it was the one that started everything.

Live wedding painting takes off
Word spread through Nepal, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Butwal, Gorkha, Biratnagar, and beyond. 20+ locations across the country and growing.

GS Creative Studio
A dedicated studio space for commissions, portraits, and post-wedding finishing. Somewhere quiet to finish what started at a wedding.
International wedding painting
The first live wedding painting outside Nepal, painted in the Philippines. Same easel, same finish-it-on-the-day promise, a long way from Kathmandu.
A bit of studio life.
Brushes I’ll never throw out, paint tubes I should. The chaos, always.

A short, only-mildly-confessional Q&A.
GS Creative Studio,
Nepal.
A working studio in Nepal where commissions are finished, portraits are painted, and wedding canvases are completed in the days after the celebration. There’s always a row of half-finished canvases leaning against the back wall.
